Is there less risk of pregnancy with withdrawal during intercourse or is the risk the same or equal without withdrawal?

Hello, in order to clarify the question, are you referring to coitus interruptus, i.e. the withdrawal of the penis from the vagina before ejaculation?

Yes, exactly, I'm referring to that

Coitus interruptus is a natural and accessible contraceptive method if properly applied by both partners. However, its real effectiveness rate when used alone is about 78%. Indeed, it depends on the experience of the partners, knowing their reactions well and requires good communication to withdraw at the right time while avoiding that the genitals touch each other afterwards. Also, there is the possibility that spermatozoa may be found in the so-called pre-ejaculatory fluid. For more information, I refer you to this very well done site that explains the pros and cons of this method: https://www.fqpn.qc.ca/?methodes=coit-interrompu-2
